Exciting Moment

            In my book Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Pual Curtis, Bud goes on a long trip to find who he thinks is his "dad" named Herman E. Calloway because his mother died and he lived in a Home. When Bud finds Calloway, Calloway doesn't accept that he is the father. Until a conversation starts a few days later. Bud finally says what his mom's name is. Calloway remembers he has a daughter with the exact name. Calloway goes upstairs and starts crying. I think what will happen next is that Bud will find out that Calloway is his grandfather and Calloway will adopt him be a Bud has reasoning behind all of this.
