Bud from my book 'Bud, Not Buddy' he is meeting his dad for the first time in a log cafe. Where Bud's dad and his band are playing. The setting affects him because Bud learns about his dad and his dad denies the fact that he is his son. But after they play his dad invites him to dinner and he learns more about his dad.
The conflict affects Bud a lot because a man named Lewis found him walking to a city named Grand Rapids alone at 2am because in the last home where a family adopted Bud, Bud didn't like it. So Lewis he takes him to his house in his truck but when he wakes up he finds himself in Lewis's house. Lewis's daughter makes breakfast and feeds Bud. While eating breakfast Bud told lies and said that they should just leave him alone but Lewis did not agree so he took him to the log cafe. Lewis says that he will talk to his dad but Bid doesn't want him too. The conflict affected Bud by making go through a long dangerous journey to find him.

5 Senses
My character Bud from my book Bud, not Buddy is a 10 year old boy who runs away from his parents that adopted him. He probably smells bad becaus he has been homeless for a couple of days. His choice of words are contraction words and words that replace bad words for example; Doggone, you'd've, you'da, ect. Bud is an African American boy with ripped and baggy clothes.

Protagonist and Antagonist
In my book Bud, Not Buddy the antagonist is a boy named Todd. Bud was adopted. But their lived a boy named Todd that is 12 years old, 2 years older than Bud. Todd beat Bud up in the middle of the night because he was jealous of Bud. On page 10 it says "I fell on the floor and pulled my knees up to my chest and crossed my arms in front of my head like a turtle in a shell. I started scorching toward the bed hoping I could get under it. Todd started kicking me with his slippers it they couldn't hurt as much as his fists did." That shows me that Todd is the antagonist and is trying to hurt Bud because he doesn't like him.
